It is a global manufacturing and marketing petrochemicals business, with operations in Asia, Europe and the US. Supply Chain Executive

The Supply Chain Executive reports to the Supply Chain Manager, and is an integral part of the Acetyls Asia commercial team. The commercial team drives the overall maximisation of acetic acid volumes and margins in the Asian region, provides marketing coordination, and manages all commercial operations. Within this team, the Supply Chain Executive’s primary role is to provide support for logistics arrangement from supplying source to
customers, through working closely with customers and stakeholders, with aim to optimise supply/demand balances and concurrently meet customers expectations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Support, monitor and communicate short-term and medium-term acetic acid supply-demand balances in Asia (outside China)
- Ensure customer requirements are planned for, product sourcing & logistic cost are optimised
- Execute operational logistics process against established Contract of Affreightment and agreed Shipping KPIs. Identify and drive logistics process improvements
- Provide assistance to immediate and extended commercial team and joint venture colleague on supply chain and marine shipping activities as well as familiarise key customers with BPs logistics activities to smoothen planning and delivery process
- Provide support and experience to supply chain processes, including development of new logistics activities or providing feedback on logistic aspects of supply contracts
- Provide optimisation/supply chain training to other teams.

- Planning: Able to plan, prioritise and analyse multiple scenarios and information rapidly
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: Able to liaise with multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Detail oriented: Able to balance operation details, with a longer term outlook
Requirements:
- University degree or professional qualification with minimum 5 years’ working experience
- Knowledge of marine logistics, storage and supply demand management is essential
- Experience in working with joint venture partners or in a joint venture environment will be a plus
- Knowledge of documentary trade financing (letter of credit) would be an added advantage.
