Graduate Chemical Engineer, Safety Facilities Engineer, Mechanical Engineer

For all of these positions, during initial training, some overseas travel will be required.

1. Recent Graduate Chemical Engineer
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
What you will be doing:
Multiple positions are available, with responsibilities such as
- Designing new process equipment such as towers, drums and reactors, and troubleshooting the operation of existing equipment.
- Developing and deploying process control applications for ExxonMobil’s global operating sites.
- Analyzing unit operations at global operating sites and working with site engineers and subject matters experts to develop and implement improvements.
What you should have:
- A Bachelor of Engineering or higher degree holder in Chemical Engineering or Computer Science with excellent academic record.
- Full time or internship work experience in a related
engineering field.
- Demonstrated experience in leading technical teams.
- Previous academic and practical training in process simulation tools, like PROII, Hysim, are highly preferred.
- Passionate to be an engineer and show strong attributes e.g. attention to details, highly organized, good math/analytical skills and practical use of the physics and chemistry principles.

2. Safety Facilities Engineer
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
What you will be doing:
- Provide daily technical support and guidance to a team performing Safety Facilities Studies for ExxonMobil refineries and chemical plants around the globe.
- Responsible for delivering efficient and accurate studies and solutions in the area of Process Safety.
- Responsibility for technical guidance of team members.
What you should have:
To be eligible for our Safety Facilities Engineer position, you will need to be
- A Bachelor of Engineering or higher degree holder in Chemical Engineering.
- 5+ years of previous experience in the oil, gas or petrochemicals industry.
- Demonstrated experience leading technical teams.
- Solid understanding of Process Safety fundamentals including HAZOPs, Risk Assessments, Overpressure Protection and Contingency Analysis.
- Passionate to be an engineer and show strong attributes e.g. attention to details, highly organized, good math/analytical skills and practical use of engineering principles.
- Previous academic and/or practical experience in process simulation tools, like PROII, Hysim, are required.
- Previous academic and/or practical experience in flare modeling tools, such as Pressure P.

3. Experienced Mechanical Engineer
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
What you will be doing:
As an experienced hire engineer you will be involved in decision making from the start. You could find yourself working providing daily technical support as part of a team working on various engineering projects, which include petroleum refinery fixed
equipment fitness for service assessments, pressure vessel design and analysis, piping flexibility analysis, heat exchanger technical support, and operational problem solving.
What you should have:
- A Bachelor of Engineering or higher degree holder in Mechanical Engineering with excellent academic records;
- 5-10 years of practical experience doing technical work in Mechanical Engineering in the petrochemical industry;
- Practical experience in pressure vessel design and analysis including a working knowledge of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code;
- Practical experience in piping design and analysis including a working knowledge of ASME B31.3 and piping flexibility analysis;
- Experience with fitness for service including API 579;
- Experience with heat exchanger design and analysis;
- Demonstrated experience in leading teams for both technical or business activities;
- Passionate to be an engineer and show strong technical attributes e.g. attention to details, highly organized, good math/analytical skills and practical use of the physics and chemistry principles.

Protection Manager (PPM), Visual Flow, FlareNet are required.
