Geoscience Technologist
The Geoscience Technologist will be a contributing member of Geoscience Department with well-developed organizational and data management skills.
The Geoscience Technologist works primary in support of geoscientists in exploration, development or production activities.
Candidate should be results oriented, self-motivated, pro-actively prioritize activities and work effectively under tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Technical and business supports for the Geoscience Department.
- Create maps, cross sections and various other displays and reports.
- Digitizing, well log management and data loading.
- Assist with creation and assembly of presentation materials.
- Additional duties as requested by management.
Requirements
- Candidates must possess a minimum in Diploma but preferably a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology / Geoscience with strong computing skills. Candidates with
Petrel software knowledge and experience will be an added advantage.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
- Strong technical problem solving skills.
