Marketing Manager – Motorcycle Oil

This role will be responsible for leading the Malaysia and Singapore market strategy development, setting and delivering against growth targets and KPIs for the Motorcycle segment. You will also be responsible for driving performance delivery including brand management (product/brand portfolio and offer development), budget management and technology requirements.
You will be responsible for resource allocation proposals for the space by segments and brands and are required to work closely with internal stakeholders (e.g. regional marketing and sales peers) and external parties (e.g. advertising agency).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum 5 years’ relevant working experience
- Track records in various consumer marketing roles and able to leverage and grow the business in line with the strategic direction
- Excellent verbal & written communication and presentation skills
- Successful track record of new business development and developing partnerships & alliances
Quality Control Chemist (Req #: 45202BR)
(Based in Port Klang)
This role is responsible for quality control on locally manufactured products, imported products from overseas, products manufactured by third parties and raw materials (base oils and additives). He/She must ensure all finished products and raw materials meet the specifications before release to the
market or next process. Also, ensuring all locally manufactured products use the correct formulation, specification and blending procedure. He/She is responsible for the upkeep of the plant formulation and specification sheets to ensure compliance with BP technology standards. The jobholder must be able to carry out lab blends and ensure all the necessary tests are completed prior to the first production.
In addition, the job holder will support the QA/QC Manager in maintaining and ensuring full compliance of ISO 9001 and ISO/TS 16949 Quality Management System and ISO 14001 Environmental Management system.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with at least 7 years’ working experience
- Self-driven and able to work independently with minimum or no
supervision
- Able to provide solutions to various problems in his/her area of responsibilities
- Understand theories, principles and significance of various laboratory tests. He/She must be able to carry out the testing himself/herself
- Familiar with product specifications and typical properties of lubricants and able to judge credibility of analytical results and make the right decision
- Experience in ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001 & preferably TS 16949 with the ability to draw up procedures relating to quality control activities and test methods
- Possess leadership qualities and the ability to lead a team of Laboratory Technicians who report to him/her for better performance and able to comply with HSSE, Group and legal requirements.
